Creating HECOstix was born out of a real need on the flag football field back in 2016. Witnessing my teammates' challenges with pulling flags and catching passes, an idea sparked in my mind. Determined to turn our game around, I drove to the local hardware store in search of materials to bring my concept to life: a tool designed to enhance focus, coordination, and reaction times. Our excitement grew as we tested prototypes with various groups, each time receiving overwhelmingly positive responses. The product we had once dreamt up on a football field was quickly becoming a reality and an instant hit among our test groups.

Experimenting with PVC pipes and color differentiation seemed promising, but it wasn't until my friend Kevin Stephenson and I stumbled upon EVA foam that things really started to take shape. This lightweight, durable material allowed us to create a product that was both effective and safe for all ages.

Hecostix are fun and safe for all athletes

After 2 and a half years of meticulous research and development, we launched HECOstix in 2019. Since then, the journey has been nothing short of incredible. As an entrepreneur, there's a special kind of satisfaction in seeing a problem, imagining a solution, and then bringing that solution to life. Today, HECOstix not only addresses the need I once observed on the field but has also evolved into an engaging tool that promotes cognitive development and physical agility, far beyond our initial vision. The story of HECOstix serves as a testament to the power of innovation, perseverance, and the sheer joy of creation.
